I have a pretty high TSA clearance level and was wondering if that could help me find some work ??

Probably not. Hazmat and TWIC have their own requirements for security checks. I've not heard of anything that would tie either TSA or a military security clearance back into trucking. The way it works is that the CDL and TWIC IDs are your responsibility, not the company you're hiring onto.

For example, hazmat is tied to your CDL - you can subsitute it for part of the TWIC check, but the downside is your TWIC credential will expire along with the CDL. IMO, it's not worth the hassle of repeating the TWIC experience early to save $25. It doesn't work the other way around yet.

Nope, I have, had, top secret clearance through the military. Nothing but laughs back in the day. Doesn't matter out here, whole different world.
