Any Prime drivers living near coastal AL/MS or the Florida panhandle? Wondering if there are any drop yards in the area to drop the truck and trailer off when you come home. I live in a gated community and the homeowners would go nucking futts if they woke up and saw a semi in the street. Matter of fact, so would I. Thanks in advance.

Its like this... (and ORD should know this by now) we find you a load that delivers near your home. You deliver the load, drop the trailer where instructed to (usually some place that will load it for another driver,) and bobtail home. If you can't park the tractor near your house, you'll need to make an arrangement to deal with it... a suitable and friendly business, a truckstop, etc.

On the way out you just reverse it... grab the tractor, pickup an empty where your FM tells you to find one and go get a load...

My hero on the Prime board is an Alabama fan. This is very distressing and I get woozy just thinking about it. Talk about mental decompensation, it's happening as I type. Gots to go lay down.

You're right, ORD. State in conference pride is what it's about. WV is my team because I'll be paying them beyond the grave for my daughters 5+ years.

Once you have time, please tell us more about flatbed hauling. I had no idea flatbeds where a different animal when backing.

oh ya they have a spread axle or 'canadian spread', which makes them turn and maneuver entirely different. not to mention the extra though and labor involved in the loads themselves
