i too really have to ask why?--unless you are very short
A--you end up banging your head when you stand up
B--you end up walking like the hunchback of notre dame -
i don't know----i just had good luck with them and just like the truck.
As far as the flattop vs. condo----why do i need 2 beds if i'm just one person? Flattop is quieter, easier faster to heat/cool down. Not to mention lighter, better handling etc.

myself i love the room and the top bunk is a really nice catchall -
Well call me nuts, but I've liked the look of the flat top FLD's with the big sleeper ever since they came out.
This one would be alright minus the chicken lights and put the stacks behind the sleeper.
Edit... and it's rare to see one like this that the side fairings aren't all smashed up. -
