Shhhh… you will get the members who think there are no failures in this business to call you names.
Any companies that will lease on drivers with no experience??

Even if you have your own equipment, you’re still a newbie with zero experience.
It’s doubtful any one will lease you on at the moment, since you’ll be running under their insurance, and more likely than not, their insurance isn’t going to accept you until you have some verifiable experience.
That being said, work for a company for a year, get some experience under your belt, then revisit that idea again.Last edited: Nov 17, 2024
DUNE-T, chimbotano and Dripping Peters Thank this. -
Bruce Oakley wants a certain look in front of his trailers, eg he wants Hoods pulling his heavy trailers. My 2020 Cascadia doesn't match his wanted look.
Revenue on my end, I'm east coast NC and there is no freight, hence no revenue. If I lived in Little Rock AR, maybe a different conversation.
Honest conversation about what each of us needed to achieve as a business. I appreciate the 10 minutes the office gave me of their time. Cant fault them or that. -

Even tho you own your own truck, and authority.... how often you getting back to your mailbox so your can send in them quarterly estimates?Long FLD Thanks this. -
There are tons of companies looking for owners.
They're advertised on the back of trailers. Craigslist, indeed. Etc.
But not many will have information on them. Most work for the very few well known.
No experience will be a problem. Even the experienced has problems if they've been local only the last few years.
Look for local work. Or at least. Local companies that do long haul.Dripping Peters and KDHCryo Thank this. -
Dripping Peters Thanks this.
