Any company drivers legally getting over 3,000 since the new HOS change?

Yes, I avoided 34 hour resets before the rule changes, and still do. Keep your days to 8 hours 45 minutes, that's 450 miles easy, x7 days is 3150 miles, with plenty of time left for line 4 stuff. Most of my trips are through the midwest and 1000+ miles though so YMMV.

'YMMV' and 'pwnt n00bs!'--you guys want to stretch out those acronyms for someone not a member of your club, secret society?

YMMV = your mileage may vary

    pwnt noobs = owned newbies

Victor: time management quiz. It is 0800 in Walcott, IA. You have a live unload 205 miles away in Mason City IA in 24 hours. There is a dirt lot next to the dock, or a truck stop 6 miles past the consignee. You then have a live load 116 miles away in Savage, MN at 1300. It drops in Laredo, TX (1350 miles) no more than 67 hours later. Your truck does 65, you're on elogs, both loads gross over 75,000 and you'll need to take on 175gal of fuel along the way. Both unload & load take 90 minutes

1). How soon can you drop the trailer?
2). How soon will you be available to take another load?
3). How many hours from your 70 will you have used?

I still don't get 'pwnt' as owned or WTF an 'owned' newbie is, OMG, BBQ?? I have never used 'lol' and probably never will.

Okay, double yellow. I'll play your game--this time. But not tonight. Tonight I'm staying up for the Perseid meteor shower. That game of yours, BTW, lots and lots of very successful truck drivers don't play. Including those 'union' drivers/workers you don't seem to think much of. Your prejudices are showing... it's called false pride--but you're entitled to it if you want it. Keep in mind, you're part of a club that dies off 16 years sooner than the rest. Maybe you're not as smart as you think, duh????

Boy, I still didn't get it until I googled it. It's there! Not sure joseph1135 wants to be 'checkmated' (owned) here, but he claimed 4100 and my Google Maps says he's actually claiming 4300+...

He hasn't been back to explain...

Ummm. joseph? A newbie? Oh, my!

I'm well aware of your prejudices, but seeing as how this thread is about company drivers getting over 3000 miles/week on the new HOS, I ask again:

That's about 1675 miles and --spoiler-- it'll take far less than 35 hours & 3.5 days

Haven't forgotten you, double yellow, but you're not at the top of my list. I've got a random orbital sander going on outside and one of the nicest, slightly overcast days. Taking a loft that I bought through the grits, 80, 100, 120, 150, 220, 320. Sanding outside and re-assembling in a back room... your load will just have to wait. If you don't mind!

Hey! Very cool spoiler! You're piquing my interest! 1675 in far less than 3.5 days, eh? Including the first day pretty well shot... Interesting!

3,000 to 3,500 is very doable. I think I'm averaging close to 3,000 on electronic logs on weeks that I'm on the road that whole week.
