Any Current E.W. Wylie Drivers

I drive for them now, I am in the heavy haul division. The company closed the ~Wind divison in the last 2 weeks, about 45 drivers, were told they had to switch to flatbed or find new jobs, most did just that. They even shut down our 55 ton (7 axles) truck and trls in the heavy haul fleet. A large number of us are looking for new jobs.

As for the flat and stepdecks, when I was there the longest load I had was 1008 miles with the majority 450 miles full tarps and you get assigned the load at 3pm a 100 mile bounce to get it and be there to deliver it at 7am, or get a driver failure. Oh and that's with a 62 mph truck!

They have great insurance! But it is mandatory to take per-diem. Wich hurts in the long run. They want drivers to go to canada and pay $50 to cross the border, pay for tarping is $60. The flatbed fleet got 16 new trucks in jan, and are getting 30 more due to start arriving in the summer, of course the will be 60" bunk Mack trucks, they do have a small handfull of freightliners and volvos.

Well in my case I unloaded at 5 am so my log showed I had a fresh 11 hrs but I was tired due to being up all day. So when I couldn't make the delivery! Zing driver failure
