I think your co-driver will be the only one to have a problem with that.

 

Talking in your sleep is not snoring. If you tell them you snore you will have to get a bunch of sleep apnea tests done. Don't worry about it, you will be fine. I literally drank a Mt Dew and smoked a cig in the parking lot of the doctors office and passed mine. They check for hernias not your prostate. It's really just the most basic physical you will ever go through that tries to ensure you're not going to die while behind the wheel in traffic.

 

If you wear glasses, don't forget to bring them. However, try the eye exam without your glasses first. If you pass, great! If you don't, you can redo the eye test with your glasses on. If you need your glasses to pass the exam, they will note on your license that corrective lenses are required when you drive.

If you tend to be nervous, take a vitamin B12 the night before. It will calm your nerves and, some say, can lower your blood pressure.

 

My bf did that too (not IHOP but waffles at the motel). His blood sugar was almost 400. Needless to say he was sent home to get it checked out. He does have diabetes but not like they thought that day. He's on a 6mth card for now but that's ok.

 

It would NOT surprise me if all truck drivers "down the road" end up getting 6 month cards to ensure that they continue to remain healthy all throughout the year.
