Any DOT and MC for sale? At least one year active

 

You can spend your money any way you want, but the FMCSA will not transfer authority on the old number. They stopped doing this a few years ago when people with a poor safety record thought they could just purchase new authority and go right back into business again.You certainly can purchase an authority from someone else, but when the FMCSA transfers it to you, it will have your very own new number.

 

Corp owns the mc. Sell the Corp the old mc goes with it.

 

What if it is not incorporated?

 

im not sure on that one.

prime example is knight and swift, one bought the other out but both still operate.
