Good deal thanks both drivers seemed happy that I talked to the guy told me on the phone I could put a application in just to have it on file
EZ Money Thanks this. -
Thanks everyone!
Orientation went well...about 6 hours was all.
Mostly just safety stuff and People Net...
Oh man! I have never had to deal with E-logs before!....lol!
Did my road test in a day cab Volvo.......felt like a go cart!...lol!
So far everyone has been really nice to deal with. My dispatcher is a younger guy but acted laid back.
I start Monday morning. -
Well,The first day was not bad.
Just running drop and hook and done 4 loads today.
They put me in a 2012 Pete.....pretty nice truck for a day cab.
Most of the drivers do not like the Peterbilts because they were supposed to be sleeper trucks so they are really long.
Strange to have about 10 feet between the back of the cab and the trailer. -

I am in this sleeper cab now......no pulling slug of a truck! I asked to be moved to a Cascadia with a DD-15...lol!
These governed trucks are driving me crazy!
This Pete has battery powered AC for the bunk and won't idle......useless junk! It only lasts about 2 hours.
The Cascadias are setup to idle all night with real heat and AC. -
i worked for them till summer 2012, at that time there was mile pay, loose log sheets, went mostly up to Canada, Toronto, Montreal most of the time, maybe two trips a year up to Alberta, Edmonton. if not going to Canada, lots of loads go to SC,NC,GA,OH,PA and North East. was working out of Jefferson City TN , ex Schrader Trucking.out 5 to 6 days, leave out mostly sunday morning and back Friday or Saturday. take 34 hour reset at home. they have their own shop in Jefferson City, service the trucks while you reset. some newer peterbilts and freightliners, some KW . i liked to work for them. was told, that meanwhile some things have changed, no more mile pay,, percentage, and e -logs, some still run paper.
