If you drove that combination for awhile, you would be able to back like that and i believe that the two pivot points is what helped.

I can back up B-trains and truck/full trailer combinations, but I think that Aussie KW would get the better of me. There's three pivots on that thing.

We haul to Nickersonville , that place makes an expert outta you real quick no room rock wall trailer in the way. You have to beat the other workers or you wont get in,and they dont unload till all those people get there.

After driving for about four years I thought I was an expert backer until I backed into somebody at a truckstop which never happened before. Was tired and all but that really shot my confidence so now I always get out and look if anything is close by.

I suck. Please don't kill me if I clip your mirrors. I do my best to avoid any confrontations, but jeeze, I wish I could master it.

B Doubles or triples are much easier then draw-bar units. The shorter the "tow bar" on the unit the harder.

Thanks for reminding me of the term "draw-bar". That's the same term we used in the UK, but I'd forgotten. In Canada, the thing is called an A-converter.

On our transfer dumps here in CA, we call the tongue the drawbar, and the turn-table axle on the front of the trailer the "dolly axle" even though it is not a true dolly setup.
