I have yet to get my 730 to run for more than a couple of hours without throwing a NAVI.exe error and/or locking up!
I've returned it to RM, waited weeks to get it back just to have it do the exact same thing.
Been doing every software update that comes out hoping that they'll eventually release an update that fixes it. So far, no joy.
I'm running it alongside my 720 because I can't trust the 730.
So, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend the 730. -
If you have been reading the support thread for the last few months I have mentioned version 3322 had a issue with Junction Views. I also noted about a week ago version 3450 was released to fix this.

That's why I paid nearly $400 for a "truck GPS", to actually help me DRIVE.
Unfortunately the 730 is so unreliable that I can't trust it to work to actually help me do my job.
Secondly, I have software version 4.32.3450.1734 and I check for software updates frequently and install them every time they are available.
So far, nothing has corrected my issue.
It took RM months to get my 720 working reliably when I bought it, but it finally started working reliably, after multiple software updates and weeks of frustration.
But I've had this 730 since Dec 2014 (of course RM had it for a couple of months of that time.), and it still won't run for more than a couple of hours (and it's usually more like 15-30 minutes) at a time without throwing a NAVI.exe error and locking up.
So, my question is, what do I have to do to get a reliably working unit?
Returning it for service didn't work.
Installing multiple software updates hasn't worked.
What now? -

I'll let you know when I'll be home next.

My wife had a 510? for a couple of years and had very few issues with it. I had a Cobra 7200 or something like that and I had nothing but issues with that so when we decided to start team expediting a new Rand was one of the first purchases on the list for getting ready to go back on the road... We opted for the 730 because I have old eyes and prefer the bigger screen, then I updated it right out of the box on our home PC and the only issue we've had with it is that once when we were on our way to the Polaris plant in Minnesota, on a dead end road, it tried routing us away from a "weight" restricted bridge (35 ton for single axle) to go down a residential 5 ton street to get to the plant
Other than that slight glitch I would recommend the 730.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I really like the option to leave "trails". As a new driver anytime I get directions on the Qualcomm that are more than a few lines long, Ill hop on Google satellite, choose my route and then take that to the stop. Once I leave the big road, I start a trail. If the route works out well with no issues I save the trail and color it green and name it according to the consignees name. If the route has issues I color it red and name it according to the consignee and add "NO". Then the next time I get in the area of that consignee I can see my color coded trails and instantly know if I have a good route in or if I need to look for an alternate approach.
