I can understand 65 for bigger companies. Insurance breaks and such. But, to me, 62 is just ridiculous! Especially getting paid by the mile, I take it as an insult. And as for fuel milage, I guarantee I can make a 62 MPH truck get worse fuel milage than a 70 MPH truck.

What winds up happening is that we have a whole generation of truck drivers that just run up against the governor all the time. Then when you put them in a faster truck they do the same and get themselves in trouble.

Dude if you are making the money I promise you. You won't know the difference between 65, and 62 except in the companies who pass you. Our trucks are governed at 65. I had plenty of time to do my load so decided to run it at 60 and 61 and Normal mpg 7.3 and View attachment 64959 If pic didn't go through I got 9mpg.

65 isn't all that great when your passing 62mph trucks.. frustrating. ;) Might as well do 58 and not have to mess with any of it.
