Oh crap, brain fart. Freightliner-w star Volvo-Mack. Is the m drive just a rebrand or did they change anything?

Mack says the programing is slightly different, but physically they should be the same. I have never driven the I-shift so couldn't say if the programing is better or worse. I am not the primary driver in my trucks but the computer does learn the way you drive so each one feels slightly different as I am noticing how it has learned to best work with each driver.

I shift works brilliantly off road, if you dont want it changing just drive it manual, there is no control issues with them, comments about not being real drivers when you have an automatic is nonsense, a real driver can drive either and get the best from it
