    Sir,
we are in an over capacity. Unless you’re doing something a little specialized, nobody needs your services. There are thousands of other carriers that are willing to do it for almost free. This is kind of what guys have been trying to tell you, but I’m being very blunt. Signing onto probably one broker they’re just going to eat you for everything and then spit you out when you go out of business. Cart before the horse. now if you’re doing something other carriers won’t do or do well, and you do that extremely well, you will probably be fine.

Who says you're getting thar real 76%?
It is well known carriers find ways to screw drivers on rates.
Like ABC trucking creates ABC logistics brokerage, then they double broker loads to themselves taking a double cut.
Or simply photoshop the rate con.

I unfortunately have experienced both with multiple carriers.
    Can't trust nobody.

He's happy with his rate, and that's all that matters.

Way too many people focus on the percentage instead of the amount getting deposited in the bank every week.

It means I talked to " preferred carrier " oo with own mc who had signed contracts with pottles before bision bought pottles , there preferred carrier pay as 85% of what bision was getting for the load , and there contract was grandfathered in with the buy out

High dollar freight: goes onto their own trucks
Cheap junk: you can haul it all day for 85%. Or they put it on the board.
Likely around Christmas or other holidays where it may be difficult they may offer something decent. Does 85% still work if it means spending Christmas away from home?

It is all the same game.

What matters is if the numbers work FOR YOU.
