Hello,
I have been with jbhunt intermodal out of nj (its a really good paying sector of truck driving) for almost 5 months(going on military leave for a whole month that should cover my 6 months of experience) but I have realized that slip sitting is not for me, sometimes you get the good clean trucks and other times the one that you cant open the door without having a hazmat suit on. so I asked about owner ops opportunities and they told me I have to lease a truck from them or put my name on a waiting list which is quiet long now is theres' another good intermodal companies besides jb hunt and schneider? im going owner op i have been postponing it for too long. btw i was with werner for 1 1/2 years
any good intermodals companies out there?

the elizabeth terminal has about 40 drivers on the waiting list to become owner ops running intermodal so its almost impossible to get a owner operator slot or you can fleece a truck from them and have them control your income, thats why!
