Don’t forget to check out Dayton Freight in Cleveland. They will hire class B but you need hazmat for sure.

I have been trying to get ahold of their terminal manager for a long while now. Understandably they are always busy.

Unsure if they’d hire someone with just schooling and a little Class B experience. But it wouldn’t be a bad start to get a foot in the door I suppose.

I’m pretty desperate for something local in Cleveland.

Would running regional, working 5 days a week driving. Then going home for 2 days off be any help. Pulling 53 dry van. No touch freight. No northeast. $20 per hour detention pay after 1 hour. Need CDL class A they will train I believe.

I appreciate the offer and don’t want to come off too good, but in NE Ohio you can drive Class B local for probably more. It’s not only about pay though.

Thank you but it’s not for me. I am desperate but I cannot leave my family…

(before anyone says why not do Class B — I am very passionate about trucking and I also want to sharpen my A skills.)

    Much love.

Update: I got the job at Pepsi, decent pay + commission, forklift and lift gate, just trying to do it for a year or so then I'd love to get into a pneumatic tanker or something, but that's for another discussion.

    Thank you guys for helping!
