Swift in Phoenix. They have a dedicated flatbed that hauls only rebar from Phoenix to Vegas and back. I don't know if it is daily home or not. You may get caught out there out of hours. Anyway that account pays very well. You're probably not likely to find decent paying home daily without experience.

I would consider giving over the road a chance.

    Nix on OTR.
Not worth the hassle for so little pay and so many hours.
    1200 week/70 hours = 17.15 per hour.
    Pass

You're gonna be in for a rude awakening in this business. Your math is a bit skew.

Swift trucks do 62mph. Flatbed pay starts at .37cpm. Potentially 22.94 per hour you are driving. You get 11 hours drive time per day. 252.34 Per day for sitting on your ### doing nothing. Ah, but it's flatbed. So you are also getting paid to tarp and chain those loads. If it's rebar most of it isn't tarped. You're looking at about a dollar per minute when it comes to strapping rebar down. Takes no time at all.

Your weekly earning potential is 1,766.38. And I can show you many of my own settlements from Swift that look just like that. In fact I have already posted them here before when people called ######## or talked #### on Swift.

Wanna turn driving a truck into nothing but a mind numbing ####ing chore that interrupts your life for 15 hours per day? Drive local.
