any hassles transfering texas cdl to georgia?

    talked with swift today and they told me that i would get my cdl from texas, not georgia where i live. how hard is it to switch this license to georgia??? thanks, and i have heard the swift horror stories.... i only plan on using them as a stepping stone if they deem true

    Well when I switched my several years ago to Ga.

    Take in a copy of your Elc. bill or something to prove you do live there.

    Take 2 forms of ID. Plus your S.S. card. No S.S. card no transfer..

    You take an eye test and color blind test.
    Go to the next window, smile for the camera and pay.
    Then you wait for your new Ga. license.
    about 5 mins. later.
