I was really looking for someone who actually drove for the company. Someone who had experience with these people first hand. Or someone who knows someone who does work for them.

I know what year it is.

You should know what I meant its ok to bend a lil bit to make a buck or get home no ones going to pay BIG gezzz.

Anyone reading this even know any driver in jail or supended cdl for running hard? Not to say that it wont happen but man the way some of you carry on you'd think your ears are ringing from the sound of jail doors slaming closed on thousands of drivers.

I personaly know alot of drivers even one who was at fault in a double fatality.Very, very horribe story I wont go into but he is still behind the wheel.
I know a driver that has had a rollover and two dui's in a dam truck and the s.o.b is still trucking btw that guy is a brother of a friend starting to make myself sound like I keep bad company lol.

I was not advocating running 18 hrs a day 7 days a week but lets be for real here its happeng all around you every day and I've yet to see anyone paying big.

Now lets have it I'm sure someone is going to try to tear me a new one!

Not me Stabob, I agree that it still goes on and always will, someone will always find a way to cheat on a log even elogs! If you can and still want to do it then go for it but remember, Karma is a ##### !!!

Alias, I doubt anyone that works there will admit to it with how they are being slammed here, like I have said the dirty trucks, $1000 bond(?) drivers are required to give them and the lower pay range was enough to scare me away....

Jlind if I remeber right you work for a small outfit? anyway I dont do to the extreme so I hope karma don't come at me if I drive 1/2 hr over to make it home like I would assume working at a smaller place you could do to? if you wanted to??

Yes I do and with paper I can do whatever I want!!! :biggrin_2551::biggrin_25517: Actually I take very little chances any more, too many electronic stuff every where. If I'm an hour out and going home then yes i will take a chance but just for the sake of pushing??? Not anymore, too old to start a new career to be honest, that and I enjoy this still!!!

I am curious because I too worked there. I was in logs, safety assistant. And I am looking for others that had the same issue. I feel that this company is extremely dangerous. I can tell you many reasons, why this company is not safe. When I was hired, I thought it was to help the company, not help them "HIDE" issues. I am looking for anyone who worked there or is still working there.... There is to much in my story line to post, but I would like to see if anyone responds.. Thanks And yes they expect you to pay them 1,000 to just have a seat in one of there beat up trucks, that they dont maintain and yes other drivers do use, on your off days.

I just signed up on this website just so I could respond to this. I worked at WAW briefly in 2012 as a night driver. When hired I explained to them I held a "career 8-5 job" and that I was looking for an evening job and weekend work. I needed to be off by midnight each night and I was told this was not a problem. Anyways, long story short is that they had me running in-town freight around Polk county and then started having me run to the east coast each night getting me home anywhere from 12-4 AM. This is a blatant safety violation as you are supposed to long other job hours also and this threw me WAY over hours. They knew this and wanted me to not log my other job. It was only a matter of time before something bad happened there and I didn't want to be involved. They will eventually be shut down if they have not already. I saw many, many safety issues there (it is an "old-school" trucking outfit) They did have a good man in the office, Danny I believe, who wanted to straigthen things out. But, you can't keep a snake straight......

I worked for them briefly. One week with "trainer" to learn procedures. Pay was low. Refer freight was poorly packed. Appointments were unrealistic. Awesome Pete was the best part.
