Keep trying. A rear end collision with you at fault is going to be tough finding a job with the bigger carriers. Try looking for smaller companies, their insurances and company policies are more lenient. But don't give up, keep applying to every company that interests you. You never know who will take you unless you try.

 

Not being a jerk here, but why did you leave the carrier if they did not fire you? Seems to me that they were giving you the benefit of the doubt and you left them after wrecking their truck. Again, just asking, not trying to start anything.

Good luck trying to find a job. My husband had a speeding ticket and a following to close on his record. Both in his private vehicle, it stated that on his motor history, but he still had to wait until they came off his record. We must have put in thousands of apps and was told the same by all of them. It wasn't them, they want him, but there insurance company won't let them hire him.

 

if the accident was DOT reportable and preventable you will be hard pressed to find another job with a decent carrier for at least 3 years, sorry
