My friend is a developer and is looking for problems to solve by developing new apps. What would be the biggest problems you face in your activity that may, potentially, be solved through an App? Thank you.
Any ideas for an App

The only real thing that has not been addressed well is parking. Parking for 30 min breaks, parking for 10 hour breaks, parking for 34 hour resets, parking to shop for food, parking for restaurants, parking.....

Thank you. So there is no reliable way to find parking locations for all those different needs, correct? If you don't mind, what is available right now as far as parking information and why that is not sufficient, what is missing. Thanks again!

Parking is a very fluid and complex issue. From city and state regs that control both size and weight of a vehicle, and the length of time that a vehicle can sit stagnant. Then there are idle laws, route access ect. There are some apps, but they rely on accurate and prompt information from the users. But the space could be used by a non user, or people can lie, to reduce the number of trucks.

A trailer loading weight distribution app. Plug in trailer type, length, number of pallets total approximate weight, California?
Would then recommend a pallet loading solution, assuming all pallets average the same weight.
That's one. But I was thinking of another a few weeks ago but can't remember at this time.osan Thanks this. -

A hotel coop app. Lists Hotels with verified parking (at least 3 spaces for 70 foot rigs) and pays for itself with current in-app specials and coupons offered by verified hotels to/for the trucking community only
