Just wondering if anybody knows anything about Carter Express out of Anderson In. As far as i can tell the do mostly dedicated runs, but wondering if anybody knows anything else about them. I found a weekly run from close to my house here in Illinois to Nogales, AZ and back. Most likely automotive parts.
Any info on Carter Express out of Anderson, IN

My husband has been with Carter Express out of Anderson, IN for 2 years, and is very happy with them. He has had a dedicated run with them from day one, and gets 3600 miles a week. He hauls air bags, and racks between Laredo, TX and MI. They've done everything they promised him from the start. He has a newer truck that he loves, they keep their equipment running right, and do routine service to each and every one of their trucks-never has had a problem with anything reguarding equipment, pay, down time, logs, etc. Carter is the 5th trucking company he's worked for, and honestly this is the best one he's worked for! The pay is good,(.36 per mile) they offer decent benefits eg. health ins. plans, vacation time, quarterly safety bonuses, and recruitement incentives, 401 K investment opportunities, and decent/real people in management and dispatchers who work with their drivers! It's really been a nice experience having my husband home regularly, and not under any stress! Carter really cares about their drivers AND their drivers families! From day one, they made me feel welcome and even invited me to accompany my husband to Anderson, IN when he went for orientation, and to pick up his truck. They paid for our gas down there and back from Michigan, and put us up in a decent hotel near their terminal, and even paid for our meals. Notice I said "our"?! I know that's not a big deal, but it really impressed me to have Carter make ME feel like a part of my husbands decision to go work for them. Carter has been the best thing that's happened to our family since hubby's been driving! (financially and emotionally!) Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents...hope this was of some help to you.
MexicoTrucker Thanks this. -
What kind of equipment do they operate?

Planning on going to work for them myself when I return from this run.
I dropped my Haz Mat last time I renewed my CDL and Kelli in recruiting said that Carter would pay for everything needed to get it back. Can't beat a deal like that.
They seem like an excellent company from all I've been able to find out about them.
Capt. Ron, they have fleet speced Volvo 760's and a few International ProStars leased from Ryder
