Any info on four star transportation out of Michigan?

A high school buddy of mine just quit them and went to Gypsum Express. He said his highest check out of Four Star is his average at Gypsum. Terrible equipment and worse maintenance... you get no accessory pay. So if you tarp you get zilch and almost every load is tarped. You are home every weekend but thats the only perk. He said he wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

 

I feel that everyone's experience will vary at any and all companies...i work for a company in NJ that people have bashed them on this forum and ive been with them for over a year and dont have any problems at all...its all about what kind of driver you are and how you get on with dispatchers and so on....if i would have listened to what people said about the company on this forum and what drivers that i know said i would have never worked for this company at all...sometimes its better give it a shot because your experience will vary from the last guys opinion and we all know what they say about opinions!
