I think it depends on your driving record & history. The better they are the quicker the response. I would send them an email and enquire if they received your application.

Until they initiate contact, phone calls are useless. They will respond to emails.

Will, I've given the good, now the bad.

I was available for dispatch on Sunday but was offered only a short run so I decided to wait for Monday's loads. Had plenty to chose from so this bad week can be chalked up to still learning. I chose a load that delivers in North Vernon,IN tomorrow at 0600. Not bad except while waiting to pick up I was conversing with other drivers & when I told them where I was delivering they weren't very encouraging. One driver told me it took him over seven hours to get unloaded. I hope not, but it's not going to matter as my backhaul doesn't pick up till 1500 Thursday & delivers in Bloomington,MN Friday at 1300. This late delivery could hinder my load selection on outbound loads from Cottage Grove,MN.

All that being said, if I can get a productive load out of Cottage Grove,MN I will still do ok.

 

The good thing is that doesn't sound like common occurrence good luck
