I thought he said the first 2 stops are free. That's why you would only get paid for 1. But anywhere else you would have not even got paid for any stop. It amazes me they really use hub miles. That has to rock. Or do they take a percentage off you hub miles. Or even better do that give you a specific route to take. Not sure if you have mentioned this b4 sorry.

Get paid on all hub miles. Driver does their own routing. The rule of thumb is that as long as your total miles are not more than 10% out of route nothing will be said.

Sorry guys I'm late to the party as usual :biggrin_2556:

So JD, are all your loads round trip? Meaning they all start and end in GP? So in this example are you being paid drop pay to deliver the empty to GP? I'm sure I missed something.

Anyway I sent in my app on Monday, how long does it take to hear something? Sounds like a great company, sure it's not easy to get in.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info brother. I faxed mine back so that should help a little. When you say a face to face interview, you mean orientation right? I'm in Raleigh, that would be a long way for just a pre-employment interview. :biggrin_2556:

Poly has three locations that can be a home terminal 1) Grand Prairie,TX 2) Henderson,NV 3) Cottage Grove,MN. All trips begin & end at a drivers home terminal. Since over 90% of the drivers, including myself, are based out of GP I use it as my example. Taking an empty to GP does not count for stop pay.

The length of time to hear back from them once you submit an application can vary. I recommend that you send an email to inquire if they did receive your application. Do not try calling. They will not answer or return messages, but they will respond to emails.

Face to face & orientation are separate events. They will fly you in for both.

I did email them right away to make sure my app went thru, and yes, they responded very quickly.

Ok, so how did that load come up with 1 stop? You delivered then pu back haul and deliver that before bringing the empty to GP. What constitutes the extra stop?

Wow, they are serious about the hiring process. Fly you out twice, that's amazing. Thanks brother.
