Lol....0 lbs gained. Got lots of exercise. First night I did 30 mins on the elliptical machine plus walking. Second day lots of walking to explore the massive ship as well as many walking laps around the outdoor track. Third day we walked almost 8 miles sightseeing in Key West. Fourth day we did a 12.5 mile bike tour around Freetown, Bahamas. The fifth day more walking to sightsee on Paradise Island. The six & seventh day I was lazy.

Hey what speed are the trucks governed at? Also do the trucks have the rpms governed? Do they pay out detention pay? If so how much per hour? I know this question has been answered before but if a driver gets hired (even with only one year experience) they start you at 48. Cpm?Thanks in advance.

The trucks are governed at 68 mph. The Columbia I am driving now does not have the RPM governed. There is no detention pay on Poly's own freight. On brokered backhauls however, I have gotten pretty good detention pay out of the brokers. The pay varies by broker. All drivers make $.48/mile regardless of experience or seniority.

Based on the research I've done I've learned that 1.) Trucks are governed @ 68mph, 2.) Pay is 48 cpm, 3.) NO CALIFORNIA. Not sure about detention pay.

Living in AZ should not be a problem as Poly has loads going there from Grand Prairie & Henderson facilities. Having preventables could be a problem, but only HR/Safety could tell you for sure. I suggest sending an email with the details of said preventables & ask if they would accept/approve an application with said preventables. Good luck.

Just delivered my backhaul in Lancaster TX and put my truck in the shop at Poly to get my overdue PM done. Turned in 2857 miles for the week that included 2.5 days at the house and 4 paid stops.
