    Hi, I graduate TDI, Sanford, FL June 30th. I have an orientation set for Stevens Transport in Dallas. I read the old posts on here. Is there anything good to say for Stevens? Or anything new to say good or bad? Is it a reasonable first company? I am aware that I have to go get my experience in driving somewhere and then I can re-evaluate in 1-2 years.

    They have nice looking trucks? That's about all I can think of, Dallas sucks to find parking in a truck.

    I do not have 50 posts to be able to send private messages or replies. I can not give you the bird dog,,, The company mentioned in the email didn't give me a prehire,, when I called to ask,,, they had hired one person from my class already. Don't know why that mattered? He had started the 8 weekend class with me and switched to days. Thanks though!

    Stevens is an alright trucking company i drove for them 1.5 yr.What i liked about it the most was when the weather got too bad you can shut down when u feel unsafe. you wont be throwing any chains on your truck in snow or ice., and theres plenty of freight to move.Hey your gonna hear, and read all the negative stuff on these forms from people who went there, and could not make it. Yes your first year is gonna be a little ruff because its all new to you.
