I think they did that on purpose. Ever since the tentative agreement for small package was posted, I don't think they want the same response from Freight. Union seems to be pushing for this contract to be approved...but to me, it seems like the Union negotiators are selling out. Now...there's no time limit on the extension. UPS already knows the threat of a strike may not happen. So it's gonna be a lot of back and forth until an agreement is made. The tentative agreement for Freight is suppose to be revealed on August 9.

I’m not impressed with the length of pay progression for some reason. Denver called me off my Indeed resume for P and D in Salt Lake. 17 an hour lol . When every other LTL pays 21-27. They have a permanent Ad

I saw this ad posted on the board in my area few months ago. Is this for Freight or regular UPS?

Gots to be package. But the new top out is $40 hr+ Think freight is topped out in the high 20’s for p&d. Linehaul is cpm and hourly. UPSFreight has to go through negotiations
still. Might not get near as much as Package.

I would stay with the 80K job if you are in a position never to worry.

It might be a mistake to chase after two birds in a bush when you have a nice one in hand.

Remember it's not the pay they promise you, it's the expense of maintaining yourself in fluids, food, clothing and other necessities constantly going out of your pocket out there OTR trucking.

You are not going to get 80K first year or better. More like half that before taxes for a few years if you survive that long.

My recommendation, stay at your nice 80K job. Here in the south we lived on 22K a year with everything paid off not too long ago.

So what’s better a road driver or a feeder driver?
