Coincidentally, a lot of fuel drivers do this as well. They drive for years up north and get loads of experience and then they move south and get a job. That’s why fuel-hauling is so hard to come by in the south (people on here have described getting a fuel job in Florida as being “mafia” levels).

Vagabonds wondering how, and lifelong residents like me wondering why :). What is the obsession with Florida, it’s really not all that great, especially with the massive flood of people coming here, it’s dang sure not the Florida I grew up in, or the one the dreamers dreamed about, look at at how many people move here, and move out or back to where they came from in the first few years of being here.

I lived in Florida for several years and love the state. I know it's more crowded now and for homeowners the insurance has gone through the roof, so to speak. Insects and roaches can be a problem due to humidity.

My two favorite states are Florida and Nevada. My better-half doesn't want to move to Florida, so we'll just stay here in Nevada. No insect problems here. Haven't seen any roaches or household insects. Scorpions are the main one and if you spray around the outside of the foundation/perimeter of the house, those aren't a problem.
The low, desert humidity keeps the insects away.
