At TMC you can earn up to 32% of the load gross. Your pay rate changes each month based on a number of factors such as your fuel economy and percent of extra out of route miles. Your first pay adjustment comes after just ONE month in your truck and should jump to at least 28%. Realistically at TMC your pay will fluctuate between 28% and 30% without a lot of effort on your part, and more is possible if that is your single minded goal.

i am in mansfield ohio and have been told by many that valley is a good place to start out with flatbedding and that they treat you well. this coming from numerous guys who started with sneider and also worked with some company out of arizona. honestly though i am thinking tmc as well after reading about them. i am torn between paid cdl training and waiting and taking more time going through a grant process and going to an independent school but i am not sure at this point as time is money and tmc doesn't sound as bad as the other companies i have read up on that provide training.

I always think that it is better to pay your own CDL school, or get a grant or loan. If you are indebted to a company that gives the company license to treat you badly, even if the mistreatment is a figment of your imagination.
