Ok I got u. RR LTL is advertising 225k/yr on there website, I spoke to a recruiter name Kevin he said if you run 3k to 3500 miles a week averaging 1.65 per mile you can gross 225k/yr. I just wonder how accurate that is. Its hard to find anyone who drives for them on this board recently. I guess im going to take a leap of faith just like everyone else who becomes an O/O .

So let me get this correct. 1BadMoFo you say you can or may can use the sign on bonus as a down payment at bush. Also how long do they give you before 1st payment is due. Also what do the warranty they give at bush covers, how long and is there a deductible on it. Just asking before I fill out my application trying to get much information as can. I know for everyone it's different but any advice or information will be appreciated. Other threads are to old to go by.

Just go company and save yourself the headache I signed up in October of 2013 with RRTS under Adrian Carriers and this is the basic run down I got a 2008 Peterbilt 387 you have 3 weeks to run before they start taking out your first truck installments which in my case was 388 a week. My truck was in the shop for a month straight so basically I did not run until November afterwards my the truck had issues with the dpf and that went on for 2 almost 3 months. So once I finally got that fixed which was covered under the 90 warranty that I had to fight like hell to get them to cover I was up and running until January when my transmission failed and I had a NTP warranty to cover such problems or so I thought because they didn't everything that happened to my truck they fought so they wouldn't have to pay for it. Keep in mind the warranty didn't come with the truck it cost me $5000 on top of the truck sticker price. So as I said before stick to a company salary paid position at $65,000 a year paid sick leave, at least 2 weeks vacation a year and paid short term and long term disability and you're good to go.

RRTS done me the same way. And they will take all your money from your settlements to cover the bill...6 weeks latter I finely got a positive settlement. $203.00 Sad thing they left me & co driver out in the street begging for money for 2 days. Sure sad that we ran our butts off for cheap freight and never could build up a savings for repairs. Beware of Arrow Truck Sales lease. Out of 12 months the truck was at a repair shop 11 of those. RRTS had no backbone to help or did they care. There should be away to start a class action law suit against RRTS & Arrow Truck Sales.

It's not accurate at all...I just returned my truck back to RRTS after a year of service. That includes 8 months of team driving. There LTL loads (Terminal to Terminal) Rates start at .90cpm + FSC and hover around .95cpm + FSC. Ask RRTS to send there line haul rates to you. In all said you wont be no better off than other companies that pay by mileage like: KLLM, JCT, R & M etc.

They don't pay deadhead because you count it along with your loaded miles dude. You technically are paid and in most cases paid more for the same load

Completely forgot about that... Sorry. I ended up leaving not long after that. Just had too many issues with Road Runner.
