Well, it must be broker specific. Just used Highway again for a new broker and no mention of logs, title, etc

If you’re ELD exempt because your truck is pre ‘99 all they want is a copy of your registration with a vin# and drivers license and you’re good to go. However, my truck is a 2014 that came from the factory with an ISX 15 Cummapart. I’m exempt because I dropped that red POS on the shop floor and dropped a pre ‘99 Cat in it. The FMCSA only requires that I keep documentation of this at my home office……. I don’t carry it in my back pocket and since I dispatch myself from a smartphone, I wasn’t able to provide the mighty, omnipotent Highway with documents.

I got grumpy about it yesterday, and reached out to Highway about it.
They emailed me back and said it is broker specific, not something that they (Highway) are specifying.

Ups doesn't use trackers for us people.

They use bar codes. We don't get to see where our packages are in real time until the package has checked in. Sometimes I can't even see that until the system updates. 2 days later. The last package. Didn't show anything till it arrived at my home. 2 weeks later.
