Been driving 25 years doubles, triples in NW,perfect record. But zero oilfield experience. Need to make some good cash for a year or so. Will companies train you ? Water hauling looks to be interesting. Will they let you sleep in truck or slip seat you? Expect the hard work and long hours, cant be worse then LTL tradmills up someones starirs or a safe. Seems thats all LTL is anymore.
Any oilfield jobs for exp. driver but no oilfield exp?

basic water hauling is a joke... I mean connect a hose to a tank to load and to another tank to unload..
the training required is , where are the locations...
Now , as fluid services, you have to do sometimes a little more tricky stuff for the oil companies. like skim oil from the top of a water tank, or suck tank bottom of water.. might sound complicated but.. its not.. just takes a good stick gauge and Kolor Kut. along with a sigh glass and common sense..
Long hours, is how you will get the good cash .. it is possible nowadays .. No clue, i put some doubts in.
sleep in truck if you work for a 3rd or 4th party is possible. bigger companies will have you slip seat.
more than likely you d start nights .
THAT being said, you might want to look at something other than water if you really want to make money...
Ideally i would say get in with a gig as a Hot Oiler.. Because most of water or oil nowadays are transported via pipeline to disposal or Injection Points.jimboelrodou and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -

Tesoro reminds me of MBI. The great guys get pooped on, while the screw ups get promoted to higher paying jobs.
