I'm willing to bet my 48 and 230 in wb sleeper was just as long if not longer. 5 boroughs of NYC and all over Baltimore never hit anything. Gotta bring your A game that's all

If you live in a union friendly state, I hear it's close to like being in a union. Reasonable hours, better pay, etcetera. In the "work at will" states, they will work the dog poo out of you. No OT until 55 hours, and almost everything goes in a 53'. Policy administration seems to be totally up to the TM, and most seem to do whatever they want. They have some good ones, and they have some lying SOBs. I saw someone ask about weekends, there were sometimes a small amount of Saturday work, it was voluntary, and they always got volunteers, no idea what would happen if they didn't get any. I quit there a little while back. It wasn't for me.

It's inline with the other non-union LTLs. All trucking pay is too low, but yeah, it's one of the best gigs going pay wise.

I'd be willing to bet that most drivers working at the bigger LTL companies would be hard pressed to find the same level of pay at a non trucking job that had the same low barrier of entry. Lots of people out there would kill to make the $26 or $27 an hour or more that city guys make.
Dont even get me started on linehaul. People #### near go into shock when they find out what I make. It's all about the market. Shortage of truck drivers, especially truckers willing to run exclusively at night. I'll take it as long as I can.Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
No doubt. Not many places where a high school dropout can make 6 figures, and I happen to know a couple who do.Cardfan89 Thanks this.
