Any other companies offer 6 days home time a month like Schneider?

The 7/4-7/3 is slip seating. 3 drivers share 2 trucks. That is what I was going to do with Roehl. I trained with them for 1 week and left. It seems like a great company to work for, but I couldnt afford all the waiting. Took me almost 2 weeks to get an orientation date, then got sent home for 4 days after orientation. Got picked up by a great trainer who had home time coming. Was out for a week and then sent home again to wait. Got a call 3 WEEKS later after having found a local company to drive for. I am hoping that they will let me back in at some point after the bills are caught up.

that the slip-seating for hometime+plus with Roehl was only with the team driving not solo. I don't know for sure but need to find out. My dilema is deciding who to work for. I don't want to be a job hopper. I am getting back into trucking. Graduated 12-15-07 from NTC, local college that provided a 240hour course to get my CDLs again. Last time I drove was for Overnite Trans Co in Macon, GA back in 1983. So I am not new but will be a NewBe because no recent experience. I am trying to decide who I want to work for but none really want to hire me as regional to begin with and I know I don't want to be on the road for 2-3wks at a time. Still holding out for the right offer but don't want to wait TOO long! :biggrin_25511:
