Any other self dispatching company programs like Schneider IC Choice?

I am surprised more of the industry isn't set up like this.

Landstar is the first that comes to mind but several companies advertise "pick your own freight"!

Don't you have to call in for loads at those places, along with deal with brokers?

Depends on where and to, how many stops etc.
I'd take $1.50 from Boston to Chicago anyday

A lot of the leases I have seen pay less than $1 mile +FSC and the driver takes all the risk. Amazing to me. From the settlements I have seen, after paying self employment taxes they aren't making any more money than most experienced company drivers. I don't get it personally, why do it? Why take all the risk without getting more return?

    This is what I mean.

Schneider choice is click to pick. I believe there is no phone calls to brokers, no negotiations etc.....

I don't think Landstar, mercer etc.... are like that.

To be honest, I can't believe brokers even waste their time on the phone so much and don't take advantage of technology more.
