t mobile works on I-80 in Wyoming. I don't like at&t because 5gb disappears fast.

If you never leave good TMO coverage area's Metro is a good deal. The difference between Metro and TMO is network priority and the ability to roam.

lol it also got me cause I was getting $1000 phone bills from Verizon what they dont tell you is although there are no overages there are still data limits and the highest you can get is 20 gigs which is not alot then they throttle you back which means you wont be able to stream. plus horrible service that thing never worked I even couldnt get a load due to the fact an area I was in had no service. I even got dropped calls in the major cities. do yourself a favor and never go. 1 week and I was back with Verizon. it is the best and there data just got priced in half so my phone bill has gone way down.

Yeah I totally switched to Verizon last month.

Having service everywhere is pretty crucial.

Granted, I got 32 gigs of data and burned through a huge amount of it in the first 18 days without streaming anything. Right now I'm down to 3.79gb left with 9 days remaining. Definitely miss being able to watch Netflix while getting loaded/unloaded with no impunity. But my service almost never goes out. When it does however there are huge gaps. Almost all of 68 in MD and some 64 in WV for the big examples. Gaps in T-Mobile service usually would be either for very short stretches or they'd have some roaming service. The short stretches would be constant though.

I don't know. I think the ideal thing would be to get back on T-Mobile for data and get on someone else's Verizon plan for pure phone service. An extra line for just that is only $20/mo extra for someone who already has Verizon. I'm finding it really annoying to constantly monitor data usage. Of course that would mean that in some areas I would have no data at all since t mobile coverage is mediocre, but at least I'd have phone service.

As far as data caps with t mobile, I certainly didn't see that. The last month I was with them I was using a lightning to hdmi connector to watch stuff on my tv while streaming directly from my phone instead of using a hotspot so I could have full HD video (since binge on drops quality to 480p, I just turned it off). I used over 60 gigs of data on phone and all 14 gigs of hotspot and didn't have service slow down at all. 74gb of data from Verizon would be prohibitively expensive. I should add an edit here. What I mean based on my previous post is that the data speeds would be all over the place no matter how much I'd used already. Ive a very strong belief that it's limited by tower tech and not actually throttled.

    mhyn Thanks this.

Loving T mobile. I watch Netflix and Movies and Tv using a smart tv in the truck . Maybe once I couldn't pick up a good enough signal . I have used 36 gigs of data just this month alone .

I'm amazed at some of you guys with these 36g data plans or some other exorbitant number. What are you paying for all that?

Around 75$ . For that price its DVD quality . I pay a little more for faster data and tethering at $100 and its closer to HD speeds .
