I also have Verizon and dissatisfied about their capped downloads. The service becomes crap in country or small towns. I run into, no service a lot.
Any OTR Truckers with Sprint or T-Mobile Unlimited Data?

Why does someone want unlimited? I had unlimited with Verizon. Never went over 5 GB normally when on road. Now I am having to take extended time off to deal with a family matter. Bored to death. Nothing really to do but be on internet. Going over my plan but I don't know exactly what I need for GB.

I had t-mobile and dropped calls NON-STOP, even around the house! Bouncing around small towns, I rarely had service, and get out into middle of Nebraska, forget it. I switched to verizon about a year ago, and couldnt be happier with service. I watch a lot of netflix and hulu, and run over my data every month with it, but its never more than $20 extra. I brought a buddy of mine with his CDL A permit with me for a few weeks to get him some seat time, he has unlimited sprint, and i heard him cussing sprint quite a bit because his service was garbage, or non existant, meanwhile my verizon had full service. The trip that we did was from Coastal SC, to Portland, OR, to Boise, ID, across MT and ND to Minneapolis, up to Duluth, MN, down to western KY, and back to coastal, SC. when he gets out OTR, hes getting verizon.

I use 10 to 12GB on Verizon old unlimited data plan. Most of that data is from downloading podcast . I don't pay for satellite radio anymore. Verizon has the most LTE coverage so far. Sprint is just starting to roll out their LTE system

Aside from service and speed issues, the unlimited data companies don't allow tethering under their unlimited plans. I use the largest amount of data while my phone is tethered to my laptop or tablet. I would never go over data just using Internet on my phone.
They also cap bandwidth on unlimited plans, if you go over 5gb they will limit your data speed, so if you do happen to be in an area where you have service, you will still have a hard time using the Internet because they lower your speed to a point where it's almost unusable.mje Thanks this. -
That because sprint is a east coast company (charlotte nc) any further west than mo. And your wasting your money.

My husband & I have Tmobile, no dropped calls, we have 4g unlimited

I'm on Sprint and have unlimited data. The phone service is comparable to Verizon as they use their towers when roaming. The data, however, is only 1x when roaming. (Unless you change the PRL). I have also used over 20 gigs in a month, mostly tethering, with no throttling. For the price, I can't complain for the price.

I'm finding Verizon has 4G LTE in places you may not believe like Bozeman MT. The cell phone company s don't have separate phone and tether data plans anymore. On Verizon LTE i get download speed of 5-10MB IS normal and in big city like Los Angeles i was getting 26MB download speeds.

I have TMobile Unlimited minutes, data, and text.. only time i drop calls is when i'm in the mountains, or when i'm jumping cell towers.. It works fine in Canada, it just roams on a Canadian network. But the TMobile network reaches a little more then five miles across the border past Ft. Erie.
I also have mobile broadband with Sprint, and it works everywhere.. sometimes i can't get the 3g speed but i'm still able to get data reguardless.
Oh and i must add, i have the Unlimited data with Tmobile, but it's not the Unlimited 4g data.. I get 2GB of 4g data then after that it drops down to 3g/EDGE data speed, but it's not capp'dmje Thanks this.
