I have my own Rig and my Lease Company gave us Fuel Cards from Port Consolidated in Tampa Florida. I pull Port Containers and i was thinking of getting a Shell Fuel Credit Card. My Boss said that every friday Port Consolodated sends him a e-mail of the current Price. This Week is $3.88 a Gallon and in the Convinient stores like Circle K they are at $3.74. I easily can save $100.00 a month and $1000.00 a year in Fuel. Any Owner Operators know of any good deals of Fuel Cards out there since i no longer fuel in Love's or the pilots? Shell Credit Card is promoting a 5 cent discount of 50 gallons a month or more. Sounds Familiar?

I use my personal BP card to save up to 10cents a gallon; the only negative is $2k limit and if not paid in full in 21 days its 17% interest!!! I save ALOT by buying a Wal Mart gift card inside the store and saving 10 cents a gallon that way; downside of that is it takes 30 to 45 minutes to pump 140 gallons lol

Yea losttrucker, i am thinking of a Walmart Caard myself. If i can used the Shell and the walmart, i should be all right. The real problem that i forgot to add on my new thread is that i cannot track that fuel money like i want. Sometimes Port Consolodated price spikes and i dont want to pay over 4 bucks when i can pay for 3.74 a gallon. I buy my Shell Rotella and all my chassis greas and windsheild fluid in walmart. Thanks for the heads up.

Since I pull containers myself and home nightly and off weekends the shower/point thing doesnt bother me and I save not only on the pump price but with EFS charges of $3.50 per transaction; although I only use about 2 tanks a week lol

You may check with Transportation Alliance Bank (TAB). They have a no fee mastercard which is a debit card that receives the cash price at truck stops. I don't know about convenience stores. It is a good way to track truck expenses. There are no transaction fees, like with the other major fuel cards. You can apply on line or pick up an application at any Flying J or Pilot. You can open the account with as little as $25.00. It is called a PDCA debit mastercard.
