I am not speaking of running from dc centers to the stores.

I ran the flatbed class B truck at Lowe's. (with a Moffit truck on the back)

i did the bricks, wooden stoves, pellets, sheetrock, lumber, etc, etc. on the flatbed class b truck.

My store did not have a class A truck.

then we had class b delivery drivers that delivered stoves, refrigerators, etc, etc.

now, ALL the lowe's and home desparate's in MY area, have class A trucks, Cardinal and JB Hunt, that do the heavy stuff i once did on a class b truck.

the stores STILL have class b trucks for the home appliances that are still store employee's. (for now)

I forgot about penske, in the Portland area they been looking for a part time hiker, someone to go to customers and bring or get trucks, the goodwill in my area has a combination set up, but its a pup, easy to maneuver, and once you get the hang of backing them, long trailers are a breaze.

Congrats on landing a job. Good luck on your search. I would second the person that said to scour craigslist in your area.

    Truckermania Thanks this.

I appreciate everyone's encouragement so far. Sounds like it is not a total loss cause but I do need to do some serious research. Thanks and anyone else that has some input I'd love to hear it.
