Any place a driver can pick up TCH / EFS Checks out on the road?

    Thank you for the kind offer, you're awesome!!! However, I got a few from a lumper service at one of my deliveries to hold me over, then got more from another TransAm driver on a swap. Then made it back to home terminal and now I am flush with them.

    I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to let the new drivers in here know this is not that serious of an issue. About the only time your going to need one of these checks is to pay a lumper or to pay for road service like a flat tire etc etc. Most of the time the person taking the check has the blanks. Keep enough on you to get by of course but don't use them unless you find yourself in a situation where you have to do so.

    EFS and TCH are the same company. These checks are guaranteed funds, like a cashier's check. You can usually get a blank check from most truck stops.
