No, I got tired of all the scamming and basic asshattery in the trucking industry, right about the time the carrier I was working for went bankrupt. I've kept my CDL current, though, just in case..I'm now happily working in manufacturing, mostly for defense projects. Steady hours, good pay, home every night. My days as a rolling stone are behind me now, although some nights I still dream I'm driving my truck, coming down Snoqualmie......and my brakes are smoking!!!!

If you have a 2 million mile emblem on the side of your Werner truck, you did it all wrong. I know, I know. Everyone has different needs, a perfect company for every driver...but...statistically? Come on.

I remember listening to it when my Daddy and I were going fishing in the wee hours when I was about 12. I wondered what a road gang was for the longest until I figured out it was the listeners. I really miss those days, much simpler then.
