Well, my experience wasn't very good, but I have to admit that I was still a bit of a noob, and didn't know how to work the board. I was so afraid of having refused loads on my record, that I took whatever they gave me.
I quickly became the driver of choice for black-hole loads. Woot!
Also, I picked a really cool truck, a Pete 372. Unfortunately, when things broke, it cost a LOT to buy parts for it. Oops again.
I learned enough to probably be able to do it again, maybe even successfully, and beyond what I've posted, I can't really say that the Fleetline/Dart folks did anything horribly wrong. They needed some unpopular freight moved, and handed it to the sucker who took whatever he got.Baack Thanks this. -
Did he just leave Roehl? Just curious, as a friend of mine from Longview, TX area just went with Dart. I think he bought an 07 Volvo. It's been a few weeks since we spoke.
I'd send you a PM but your post count isn't high enough yet. -

I drove with that guy for three days or so, last year. Forgot about the PM limit. Anyways. I'm surprised to see so much research being done after the purchase, especially on such a serious business decision.
-
well i wonder who you are? was he nice to you? lol or a jerk? and this is my research..not his. -
My brother in law drives for them and does well. The ones that complain and leave had the wrong attitude and did not run as an independent business owner. It's a frame of mind and attitude that you have to have to make the system work for you. Dot the 'i's and cross the 't's, and have your plan and stick to it. Do things the way a company driver does and you will fail, its about operating costs and profit.
northstar874 and iluvatruckr Thank this.
