What kind of truck should I be looking forward to driving upon completion of training? Is it a matter of luck or do they designate certain trucks for the new guys?

Should I bring lots of cleaning supplies with me and be ready to get down and dirty?

Its luck of the draw and what's sitting and availible. If you are going flatbed there is a
Good chance you will get a new truck. They seem to be adding and updating that fleet
The most. If you do get a older truck a bottle of glass cleaner and paper towels do the job. ;-)

Unless you pick it up in Marshfield. Picked mine up there last June and it was spotless. So was the other guy who got his at the same time.

They actually called me a day later. If you dont hear from them in a few days it would not hurt to call and move the process along. I learned I needed more documents than I had anticipated so its good get a move on it.

    call them.

if you call them, you will be ahead of everybody else who didn't call them. you will demonstrate interest, initiative, motivation, and you will talk to people who may be looking for just those qualities in the people that they recommend to be evaluated for the next step.

never rely on other people to do something important for you without you checking up on them. maybe your application was accidentally deleted, and people greatly interested in you are standing around saying, "if only he would call . . . "

    call.
