i'd trade the worthless back massager for a trailer brake handle and an air horn lanyard.

    or just one of them

Trailer Brake??? Didn't you get the message? We don't check our trailer brakes, we just do a tug test and that is good enough. :biggrin_25513:
Air Horn? Can't take your hands on that wheel driver, push button is better. :biggrin_25512: And the wimpy sound it makes? We don't need no fog horn! :biggrin_25525:

i almost had my tractor crunched the other day because of that little horn button. i was backing into a parking spot when another flat bed pulled up alongside me in front and began backing into my side. i was backing up too and couldn't find the little horn button because the steering wheel was in a random position. finally i was able to hit it wth about two feet to spare, and he stopped.

then without getting out to look, he started to back up again, without letting me get out from behind him. i couldn't find the horn button until he was literally inches from my door. when i did, i leaned on it and he stopped again.

so then he still didn't get out, but went forward instead and hit the truck in front of him.

Well at least I have the airhorn lanyard with a decent airhorn....and I use it from time to time.......

and why do we need to check the trailer brakes??? we have a crack team of trailer checkers in Gary to do that for us....cause we wouldn't want to have any unnecessary maintence bills because trailer brakes need adjusting or replaced while on the road......(can you hear the sarcasm)
