I'm sure the all knowing Wise one or any other moderator for that matter is a bit more computer savy than am i, so if you could please, move this thread to the "Maverick" part of your website rather than "discuss your favorite comapny here", that'd be fine with me

    Thank you

Besides, with the weight of these M11 Battle Tanks, it'd have to be a pet pebble, not a pet rock. LOL

Just a word of advice for new drivers at Maverick: Some new drivers are assigned to trucks with elogs and some will be assigned to trucks that will require them to use paper logs. If you accumulate over 100 violation points in a calendar month, you'll get a letter that tells you how many violation points you had for that month and why you got them. 2 consecutive months over 100 violation points and you get 2 safety points. dont wait till you accumulate 6 safety points and are on 180 day probation to do something about it. call maverick and ask for help as soon as you get the first two points and see what can be done to get them off

Wanted to ask a question to maverick drivers. I am contemplating trying to get in the trucking industry. Ive been reading posts on every forumm that i can trying to get a feel for the lifestyle , problems ,good things etc. about trucking. seems that some are happy and some not so pleased. Basically lke most professions. you get out of it what you put in it. Im 54 yr.old contractor. this last year the economy has been pretty rough on everybody, but it really put a dent on construction. Im currently thinking of trying to go to crowder college in mo. Its close and seems to have a good reputation. I was wondering since i live close to clinton mo, and see maverick trucks going by would this mean that home time would not be a problem
