Thanks for the info. Talking with some Werner drivers, they have to pay for it out of their own pockets, then wait to be reimbursed. That sucks! :biggrin_25513:

I don't recall what the Rat div. area covers ( besides east coast obviously )
as a Rat driver myself, I run the I 95 corridor from CT to GA often, been as far west as Texas/Oklahoma, up to MN/WI, across IL, IN, OH and PA. ( and everything between )

only been to Florida once, Kissimmee with corner beads.

Maine to florida west to i-65 is RAT's primary operating territory. doesn't mean your truck shuts down the moment you go west of i-65 though. lol

    esanders79 Thanks this.

Hi Sarge, I have had a class A "restricted" meaning, I could drive everything but a tractor trailer since I tested in a tri-axle dump with a trailer. anyhow, I do have 8 years experience driving dumps and hauling around heavy equipment and materials. I just went to a driving school, retested with a tractor trailer and got my cdl restriction removed. I'm looking to get into flat bed and have been reading up on everything I can. Maverick seems like a good company, my main other obvious choice is TMC. My question to you is, what do you think makes maverick a better company than TMC. Please give me specific details. Im really wanting to make the right choice the first time. My other question is this. I live in western maryland, near WV not far off of I68, about an hour east of Morgantown, WV (I79). How is my location as far as how well hometime will work out for me? Thanks in advance.
