    I believe our oldest driver is in his 70's, and pollocks not far behind so the answer would be yes.

    So the company's owner's son took over the trucking company and he hates driver's. . .Gee thanks dad now watch me run your company into the ground. give maverick a call

    Sarge, Thanks for the straight forward advice you have been giving on this thread. I have been reading the threads on this forum since last November, and I have to say that yours is the best one I have read hands down so far.
    I am hoping to be going to school soon, my position of 14 years was eliminated last August, I'm going to be 49 this July and just felt that I wanted to change things up and see the country.
    Not certain what company I will end up with but I would like it to be one that I will want to stay with. When I do go to school and graduate I will definetly be applying at Maverick. If I am excepted I hope to be able to have a Driving Instructor that has your values.

    Yes they do. Somebody has to help out the young workers in the company.

    i'm not slow either, just fuel efficient and i would have to agree w/ sewerman re: hardest physical thing that one has to do in orientation is listen to all the one uppers
