Same same! Mid roof 670 was WAY different than the FL/Pete's I was used to. Took me 45 minutes to search for a way to open the hood.... before asking someone at the terminal. And I am totally embarrassed to admit this:

After seven months driving a Vulva, I still didn't know there was a difference in those horn buttons on the wheel. They sounded exactly the same to me.

I think Volvo was trying to be an "individual" instead of joining the team.

I've never been in one, even to check out, but everyone I've talked to that drives a 780 swears that there will be a shoot out if someone wanted to take that truck away from them.

i think there is an adjustment period with a volvo--more so than other trucks, most people who drive them love them--i am more used to fliners so i put up with them--the first time i did a tiny trip in a volvo,it felt as if i were in a ship on water the way the wind affects the cab--fliners being so rough you dont get the wind sway as much
i like the idea of the work station in volv's tho--i think it would be a nice option to not have to do everything while on your bed

    It's within 120 miles if you're a newbie.

I think someone posted that once you get experience it doesn't matter where you live.

its just one of those things you have to check rarely--but if you stay on the same truck you will know it like thback of your hand --like what to check on a pretrip and such--some stuff can break or wear out--and some stuff is a bit redundant to check every day--

    truckerdaddy24 Thanks this.

Its that time of the year, yes the loads are down, but dont worry there is always something to move somewhere.
