Ok professional drivers here's a question from my wife to see if you really know you sheet. :biggrin_25525: Most likely I'll be issued a Freightliner Columbia with the two bunks. Question, what size sheets fit the bunks? If left up to me I'd probable just throw anything in there and deal with it. But you know how woman are, had to ask. Thanks in advance.

What's up with all this paper work? Man we have been at it for two days in orientation. I see why the have you do the driving part first. You are less likely to quit. Man I feel like I'm going to need a secretary. How do you guys keep up with it all, and the qualcom? Please tell me you can find a grove.

piece of cake! logs are pretty self-explanatory on how they should be done and when....I update my trip envelope every night at the end of the day, keep a note pad handy (mine sits on the passenger seat, 2 of them actually- 1 for noting mileage when needed, crossing states, etc) the main notepad with the trip info gets updated nightly as well. The QC is easy once you get used to using it. I still forget to send in an EDI every once in awhile but not as bad as I did 6 months ago. You'll find your rhythm once you're actually out on your own and doing it every day. :biggrin_25525:

Like anything, the more you do it, the less of an issue it is...I truly don't feel like there is much paperwork at all...Just logs and trip envelope with associated docs is about it...

    seawheeler Thanks this.

    Guys....couple more ?'s

1.) Does your dispatcher typically hold you to a specific route, or is it up to you to find the most effective route via maps/GPS; & if directed the route, can you alter as needed to bypass big cities to avoid some delays as needed?

2.) Does Watkins and Sheppard utilize all thier own trailers? And who would be doing the loading and heavy unloading of the frieght at a cosigner's place?

    Thanks guys
